Custom over off-the-shelf
The DigiShares audit prevented a costly lock-in and enabled building a platform CrowdeX owns end-to-end.
CASE STUDYFINTECH · REGULATED CAPITAL
We audited the DigiShares solution for CrowdeX, then built a custom MiCA-compliant launchpad from scratch. The result: Crowdex can ship new tokenized projects in hours, with over 1M PLN raised in the first months.

Before building anything, CrowdeX evaluated DigiShares — an off-the-shelf tokenization platform. They needed a clear answer: would it actually work for their product and investors?
Our audit surfaced three critical issues: an unreliable Web3 experience (wallet connections and missing validations), outdated mobile UX despite most investors using phones, and restrictive token standards with trust-breaking transfer controls. Vendor lock-in meant no ownership.
The choice was simple: accept limitations or build the platform they actually needed — compliant, fast to launch, and simple for non-crypto investors.
Built from the ground up, giving CrowdeX full ownership and control of the launchpad.
We integrated Web3Auth and Biconomy so users can log in with familiar methods and avoid wallet and gas-fee friction — the blockchain stays behind the scenes.
Identity verification via Veriff, electronic signing through Signius, and automated regulatory checks across the flow — MiCA compliance from day one.
Investors can use cards, bank transfers (ZEN.com and Stripe), or crypto — whatever fits their comfort level.
Template-based setup with automated compliance checks, plus tools to manage projects, sale parameters, and content without developer help.
Starting from scratch let us design for MiCA compliance from day one — not bolt it on later.
We used pre-audited smart contracts from Thirdweb on Polygon to start from a secure baseline, while tailoring the platform to CrowdeX’s needs.
The core challenge was balancing regulatory rigor with a simple investor experience. Account abstraction hides Web3 complexity; compliance checks happen in the background.
Compliance doesn’t have to create UX friction.

The DigiShares audit prevented a costly lock-in and enabled building a platform CrowdeX owns end-to-end.
Regulations don’t have to mean complicated UX — architecture can make compliance mostly invisible to users.
Familiar login and payment methods reduce barriers for investors who aren’t crypto experts.
A production launchpad delivered in 5 months, enabling multiple successful tokenized projects and 1M+ PLN raised in the first months.
Validating a ready-made solution early can save months of rework and lock-in risk.
With the right structure, regulatory requirements can be built in without overwhelming users.
If investors don’t need to manage wallets and gas, Web3 becomes accessible to a much wider audience.
Template-based launches and admin tooling are what make “launch in hours” real in production.
We support CrowdeX in adding more tokenized projects and asset types, expanding to other European markets, and enhancing compliance features as MiCA evolves.
